Frequently Asked Questions
What is Cumbia and Cuarteto?
|
In very simple terms, Cumbia and Cuarteto are styles of dance that is practiced by the Argentines that involve basic steps and arm twirlies. If you know exactly what I mean by arm twirlies then you are PERFECTLY cut out for these classes.
You can sign up on the sign up page on this site, you can email us at dance@buenosaiders.com, or you can call us personally at 0541130644167 (remember to dial 15 for cell phones!). The cost is 60 pesos per lesson which is a total of 240 pesos per class. The class must be paid up front. After you complete a class you can pay per lesson attended. You get a discount for taking both classes and paying up front. The total for both classes is 10 pesos off per class, which makes a total of 400 pesos. If you would like to pay online, click here. This would be payed online in the form of US dollars through paypal. Well, we are hiring a professional dance instructor that is young and cool, as well as dance space, so it all adds up. We designed these classes to be like a crash-course, which is why each course requires four visits. By the end you will have the basics down and the mastery is up to you; you can keep coming to the classes or you can dance your butt off at the club or party scenes. That is completely fine! Just sign up for Cumbia, or vice versa. Our idea is that after a course ends, we program an outing where we can go out to a sweet club in group format and show the world our wonderful arm twirlies. The classes are to be held Wednesdays and Saturdays in the evening. Please check the map below! Please, let us know! The more questions ther better! Email us at dance@buenosaiders.com. |
